Ist it possible to show burned calories on the watch? An official Garmin widget? Are 3rd party developers allowed to access that info? Is it even computed on the watch?

Ah ok, i even have a watchface that can show it.
Problem is, it differs from what the app shows, the app shows my target value + active calories of the day. And the watch, does its own thing, lets see what it is by the end of the day.
when looking at the first glance of the calorie widget it will show a red/blue line - red being active calories burnt, and blue being pasive calories burnt. The numbers below correspond to the line. If you have recently synced your watch and go into the app and go into the calorie in/out widget to see the full day view. The active calories burned on your watch, will match the active calories in the middle line (i.e. Goal + Active (active burn from your watch) = Adjusted Goal.)
If go into the calorie widget - first page gives 7 day view - top number is total calories burnt so far (active + passive), with the active number really small type below it. Next page shows 7 day active burn but find it fairly useless as numbers not shown.
But in all cases I find the watch matches the app.
No match, app is always above 3k, widget barley scratching it once.
They're not showing the same thing, are they? The app is showing your target calorie intake for the date, adjusted by active calories. The watch is showing your estimated baseline burn plus active calories.
My goal is one I set in MyFitnessPal at some point, not sure how it is set if you're not linked to that.
Thats the problem that they are not showing the same thing. I want the watch to show me what I have to eat adding my active calories.
I agree they aren't showing the same thing - assuming you have just synced - as 92 active vs 43 active. What are your MFP settings as there is an issue where MFP doesn't always correctly determine active calories and can instead use its own instead of the watches. Make sure it isn't pulling through MFP active calories (as MFP always shows lower calories than Garmin).
Yes that sync was up to date.
I don't use MFP and it should be disconnected.
