Hello, does anyone know about the bluetooth range on tactix delta? Is the same like on the fenix 6 series, or weaker? Thanks
Hello, does anyone know about the bluetooth range on tactix delta? Is the same like on the fenix 6 series, or weaker? Thanks
I have a Fenix 6X, not a Tactix, but they're exactly the same watch internally and almost the same externally (really the only difference is the bezel shape), so the BT range should be almost identical;…
I've had my Tactix Delta update my iPhone from at least 5m away no probs and through 2 walls, so I think it's pretty standard.
Should be the same as they are really the same Watch, certainly same BT chip
Yes i know but i read an amazon customer review and it had a weak range. I thought the materials used to make military-type watches could weaken the range. But it may have only been a problem with the watch. Thank you for your attention

I have a Fenix 6X, not a Tactix, but they're exactly the same watch internally and almost the same externally (really the only difference is the bezel shape), so the BT range should be almost identical; my experience has been that I get a minimum of 7-8 meters of range, virtually no matter what. Even if there are walls in between. With no obstructions, I get well over that, I'd say 15 meters or possibly even more.
It's actually pretty impressive, I can leave my phone in my upstairs bedroom, go downstairs and into the garage (and I realize nobody here knows the layout of my house, but I'll just say that's probably 30-35 feet with 2 walls and a floor in between) and most of the time I still get phone notifications just fine.
I have my watch set up to alert me when BT connection drops out, and often I'll get halfway to my car parked on the street before I get the alert that I forgot my phone in the house.

The material is the same. The 6x is just as "military standard" as the tactix. On paper. But that doesn't mean anything. Both watches are NOT certified.
i have a good experience with the garmin's bluetooth connection so i was surprised someone complained about it. Maybe it was just a unique case.
