bluetooth connection

Hi have had a Garmin 6 for over a year now, no problems at all until last week when after i charged my watch like normal, i had no connection and couldn't sync my phone. I followed all the steps in the troubleshooting guide - deleted it from the app - then haven't been able to reconnect to any app it just says on the phone trouble locating the device and on the watch pairing failed emailed Garmin they told me to follow the steps which i did again still nothing, I've tried on different devices and still nothing, tried through Garmin express and still nothing. Does anybody have a fix please

  • I had exaclty the same issue with my fenix 6s, watch less than a year old.

    Spent ages trying to get the problem accross to garmin Support but after weeks of waiting and emailing backwards and forwards (first week was just spending ages convincing them I had 19.2 on my watch, as according to their 'system' 16.7 was the latest, so they didn't believe me)

    Gave up in the end, contacted Amazon (purchased the watch via them) within 15 minutes a new replacement was arranged.

    Think it was just a faulty bluetooth chip in the watch.

    I would't hold out for garmen support, in my case they were utterly useless.

  • You must remove the Fenix from the bluethoot device in your smartphone and after you reconnect via Connect

  • I have the same issue on my fenix 6X pro. Two hours ago I mailed garmin support. This is the mail. I am waiting their answer. 

     I am an owner of garmin fenix 6X pro and the Last two days the watch is pairing to my New Phone (Motorola g30) but when it starts the syncing procession the watch is getting back to the pair Phone mode by itshelf, and does not sync with the app. I have also tried the express option. When i connect the watch to the pc, the Windows file manager can find the watch, but the express app does not. I also have tried to downgrade firmware manually but the situation does not change. I have tried Hard reset, reinstalling the apps, update the firmware with the webupdater and all the things that you say in the garmin support. The watch is running the 20.01 firmware.. Thanks a lot. The watch is out from waranty. I have seen in the forums that there are some files that you could send and force downgrade the firmware. I am waiting For a solution from you. Thank you
