Which Garmin does not have the sony GPS chip issue accuracy impacting some Garmin?

That was a specific issue that happened at the start of 2021. Garmin didn't just post that in reply to you, don't blatantly lie.
I use my Fenix 6 for running all the time, hundreds of runs recorded on it and never had any significant GPS issues even once. Distance is always consistent (within +/- 0.5% most days, or maybe 1% on the…
Nonsense. I’ve got a Fenix 6 Sapphire that’s a couple of weeks old now and it’s spot on. Why are you posting utter nonsense?
Not only Fenix 6 but earlier Fenix 5, Fenix 3 models didn't have perfect GPS. I don't know the earlier first and second models. they had MTK chipsets, and for my experience they were worse. At least Sony uses much less power. Yeah, it isn't %100 accurate, however it does the job perfectly for me. If you don't like the accuracy, just buy another watch like Forerunner.
This could be a nice advice but....why other watches are way way better than Fenix 6? For them is it not valid your advice?
Fully agree and thank you ! In general this remark is valid for "big" runners such have distance problems with FENIX 6. I really don't understand if it's the case that's "normal" that Garmin don't say that because of the metal (where the GPS is) the reception is and then the distance are bad. This is not normal! On the forum in France a big montain trailer has bought a Decathlon watch because distances are better than the Fenix 6 ! How is this possible ?!? Clear commincation of Garmin is really missing in this case !
What's the purpose of this discussion? The Fenix 6 is not the best watch related to GPS - I agree. On the other hand, for some of us, it is probably good enough. So what's the point? I think we have to accept that it is not perfect and there are better GPS devices - so what?
The point is that I've spent 700€ to have a GPS that is worse than a 300€ watch
So what!?? So Garmin must communicate that FENIX 6 is not a watch for runners !
Fully agree ! Same as I !! and much others
OK, I accept this. So what? I really don't like the optical heart rate sensor. I can post it here and that's it. Repeating this finding/opinion again and again doesn't help me. Either I keep the watch and accept it or I return it to the seller. I decided to keep it. You probably too. I don't think Garmin MUST do anything. For runners, it is pretty obvious that the Fenix6 is probably not the best choice. It is much heavier than most of the 300€ watches for example, Runners tend to use light equipment, I guess. I use my Feinix6X mostly for running, so it works for me. It is very useful for running.
Just not ! Because Garmin Belux doesn't want to accept my return ! This is the problem !
The second one is that Garmin do not communicate that the GPS is worse compare others one
