HRM Dual firmware update

Today, Garmin Express prompted me to install a new FW for my HRM-Dual heart rate monitor. As I recall from previous watches, the procedure is that the file gets uploaded to /Garmin/RemoteSW and then installed to the module, when the HR strap is connected. I've done all that, but it's not prompting me to do the update and the file is still in RemoteSW. I double-checked the file against GarminDevice.XML and confirmed that it was for the HRM-Dual.

I rebooted the watch, deleted and resynced the file several times, but still can't get a prompt to install the update.

Any ideas?

Mine updated and still works fine with Elite HRV app using bluetooth.

I believe that only those who had HRM Dual paired in bluetooth settings has this issue.

My HRM Dual drops out after a while with Zwift over Bluetooth. Using it just with Garmin Edge works fine. It started happening after the firmware update as well.....

Have you tried to remove the pairing? it fixed HRM for me

thanks. it seems a bit more stable after unpairing, but still not 100% .. it is still under warranty, I might use it

update was announced by my EDGE 830 and went through, BLE and ANT+ still working

BUT for the first ~60min I get scrap HR (about 50% of real) only then it starts recording the same I have on my Vivosport. Tried all the recommended things with wetting and placing in correct position - the first hour is broken

with older FW I had no issues

I'm sorry but I don't know how to help, if I would find myself in such situation I'd probably try to see what support have to say about this.
