Importing and navigating routes/courses not working

Can anybody verify if importing newly created routes from Garmin Connect or any other mapping service onto the watch works?

The courses I create on or import into Garmin connect don't seem to work on the F6xpro (FW19.20, but problem seems to exist somewhat longer). No track on the map, no elevation data, when selecting a newly created course that has been send to the watch via Garmin Connect Mobile, and showing it on the map, the map shows nothing, and is zoomed in to the max (zooming it out doesn't change it, no course is shown.)

Older courses (that are already on the watch, since ages) still work. Might point to an issue with Garmin Connect?

Might have to try syncing the route via the connect app on the pc/mac?
