Massive battery drain with Fenix 6s pro Solar

I recently bought an used Fenix 6s Pro Solar and I noticed that the battery drains very quick (around 3% per hour).

I tried to do the following but didn't help:

- update to the latest version

- hard reset

- disable wifi

- disable bluetooth

- power saving mode ON (Even with this, the watch was telling me "30 days left" but every hour I was losing a 3% of battery)

The guy who sold it to me told me that this is strange and for him the watch battery was lasting at least a week.

What would you do now? The watch has 5 months of life and I have the receipt to send it back to Garmin but maybe there is something I'm missing here.

Not sure if it's related but I've had a significant increase in battery drain since 19.20 was installed. It's gone from about 11.6% per day (with WiFi, BlueTooth and 24h PulseOx enabled) to about 24% per day. I've tried the power down/restart, delete all user data, and a full hard reset with no luck.

I'd love to have 24% daily battery consumption now! I have to charge it every single day

I am sorry your battery is draining fast. There are a few things you can try. If your fast battery drain issue continues, please do not hesitate to reach out to your regions Outdoor Product Support to warranty replace your watch.

Please try the following:

- Battery Drain After Loading a Connect IQ App

- Hard Reset: Hold down your top left power button until your watch shuts off then let go once off

i've been investigating this problem for months. Normaly I use linux PC, so each firmware i had to upload via cable.
Last week i did connect F6p to my son's PC with Windows using Garmin Express. I saw maps actualisation. So i did it. And You know what, Now it came to normal battery consumption. I remember long time ago someone suggested to remove som img files with maps to fix slow system start , but i have to say it also fixes battery drain.

Suggestion to garmin team. Be so kind and add option to "kill" maps connecting during normal (everyday) use. I'm sure it will solve lot of problems.
