I have a SRM X Power meter pedals and my Fenix 6 pro keeps dropping power readings. Perfect on my Edge 830 but absolutely rubbish in the Fenix 6. Have tried Ant + and Bluetooth and both are bad. Any suggestions.

I have the same issues (since 19.x) with my Stryd-sensor (ANT+).
For me it works when I disable that the Fenix (tries to) connect to the SmartPhone. Or take your smartphone with you and keep the watch connected. It seems that if the Fenix tries to reach the phone, it disconnects external devices (ANT+ and BT at the same time) every few minutes. Annoying!
This is a workaround for me. At least for the connection to the Stryd. 19.x broke the complete external device stack for me.
I have a 4iiii flight smart trainer connected via ant +. I used to get power, speed and cadence. Now it looks like I do not get cadence anymore. I upgraded from 12.20. I use another cadence sensor now.
Wow! that not brilliant. I'll give your workaround a try.
Same problem with my bike. And didn't have this before V19
Let's hope that they address this issue as it basically renders the watch useless, for me, for riding if it keeps dropping power data.
Oh, sad it didn't work for you.
Anyway, I'm also hoping that they're going to address this problem. I have to use some exact order to start a run for now (connect BT earphones first, then disconnect the watch from phone, then start the running-activity). Though it solves the problem for me, it's still not something I'd expect nor something I had to do before 19.x
What puzzles me: there are a lot of people who say that they have no issues. Either they only use the watch for counting steps, sleep etc. or there is some deviation between the units.
It’s frequently the case that only a few people have problems and others not. I rode indoors on my smart trainer connected to my F6 sol pro with HRM-Pro, separate speed and cadence sensors with power coming from the Tacx Vortex Smart trainer with no dropouts.
Watches are used with infinitely different setups in infinitely different ways so it’s hardly surprising that some users have issues and others not.

I agree with you that situations are different, but that is the whole point of this kind of watch i.e. multi sport and multi function. Mine works fine indoors too, but not outdoors which kinda defeats the purpose!
Also BTW as stated earlier it’s not the SRM X power pedals as my Edge 1030 and 830 record the power perfectly with no drops. Confirmed using DCRainmaker’s analyser.
I have no dropouts with the Wshoo Kickr's power meter on indoor rides or Stryd running outdoors. Other sensors like cadence and heart rate and Stryd connected as a footpod are all fine - all connected via ANT+. Only BT connection is headphones when running.
Possibly its localised to your SRM pedals for some reason - have you tried rolling back to some previous ANT/BT/BLE firmware?
