KOMOOT is lost under 19.20 - and no Chance to install it via GC

Komoot App was gone suddenly. I can re-download it into GC - but it’s not possible, to install it!!!
Removed GC from my iPhone, reinstalled it, reconnected my watch after removing it… did all these things! But no way!!!

@GARMIN: PLEASE REPAIR THAT BUG!!!!

Hi! A good Friend of mine has the same problem! App was gone after the FW-Update. Re-Installation not possible. He did a workaround with Garmin-Express, to install it again - but no chance under Garmin Connect Unfortunatly

One question : For devices with maps like the 6x, what is the advantage of using the Komoot app on the watch ?
I have linked the Komoot account with the Garmin account, and thus have a route planned in Komoot automatically available directly on the watch. Even without Komoot app.Including turn-by-turn directions.

What is the advantage if I would also install the Komoot app ?

How many placeholders do you still have free on the watch? You must have at least one free space to make updates or install an app. Only 14 MB are available for apps. If 14 MB are already used for the apps (which never happens) you can't install any more apps. But the biggest problem regarding memory are the placeholders.

Are you sure that the Komoot app is no longer on your watch ? Or maybe it just disappeared from your favorites list ? Then you can simply add it again.

What do you mean with placeholders? As far as I can see, I have 23 Placeholders free, and about 16MB free memory

How do you get the planned komoot route on the watch? You send the komoot gpx file to GC, or?! Is there any other way??? As Long as I Know (and did before it disappeared) you need the komoot app on the watch, if you directly want to load a planned komoot route without using GC first….

No,

all you need to do is link your Komoot account to your Garmin account. Then you can plan your tour in Komoot and save it there. All routes saved in Komoot are automatically available in Connect, if you turn on „sync courses“ in Komoot. You only have to synchronize your watch with Connect. Nothing more.

You have to use the „sync courses“ function in komoot.

I have never used this app, but I was curious and wanted to see for myself. It seems that if you use the CIQ store within GCM that the entry for Komoot is like a dead entry. You can see it listed, but not open it to see details and install. If you use CIQ on the web then Komoot can be accessed and is listed as compatible.

I don't know if it is a solution to use the web route, but maybe worth a try. As to where the fault lies, no idea, but I don't think that 19.20 is the problem. The behaviour is the same for my 5X+.
