Tactix Delta WiFi not connecting

I purchased my Tactix Delta about two months ago and for the past few weeks I can’t get my WiFi to connect. I’ve reset to default settings numerous times, reinstalled Garmin connect, and Spotify multiple times. I am able to see me upload my watch to my phone, but I am having no luck with getting my WiFi to connect. I’ve even reset my wireless WiFi puck to standard default settings. I’ve had to manually add the network but it still won’t connect. When I try to connect with my watch I constantly get no networks detected. Anyone else having this issue lately.

i have the same issue.

changed router

change wireless configuration

changed settings

try use Garmin express

try use connect

NADA

for a 1200 USD watch it is extremely disappointing

any idea?

Are you using 2.4Ghz Wifi? The Garmin watches don't support 5Ghz.

Yea. I’ve disabled 5ghz and still no luck.

Try setting it up through Garmin Express. There's a whole thread discussing the use of underscores and periods in SSIDs. The upshot is that you can use special characters but probably better to avoid them and stick with numbers and letters if you can. Note also that the SSID must not be hidden either.

Might pay to check the WiFi version number on your watch to make sure you have something - Settings, System, About and scroll down several pages.

I’ve set it up via Garmin Express and made it strictly alphanumeric with no characters. It seemed promising as I had to login into my Spotify account to add music. Then I got an Internal WiFi Error. WiFi version is 2.60.

So you can connect and sync to WiFi? The problem is trying to download Spotify music? If so try removing and reloading Spotify.

For what is worth, I have the same issue and it happened after an update, I have not changed my WiFi configuration, and the watch is no longer syncing.

BTW, when I try changing a WiFi setting, either turning it on/off, or going to Wi-Fi Sync, the watch freezes and I have to force reboot. This was not happening ~a month or so ago. I was able to sync my music while charging with no problem--now, no music! :/
