Hi, could anyone confirm if i can use the garmin tactix delta solar while snorkeling given that sea water is salty. I live in a tropical country and snorkel alot in different locations and never used a watch for it since im not sure .

Yes you can however you are unlikely to get any useful data from is a I'm guessing you will not be swimming as such but have your hands under water. You might get some heart rate data from the wrist heart rate but that depends on the usual conditions for getting reasonable results.
The big thing is that there is no reason why you cannot use the watch in sea water, or chlorinated pool water if that is what you are concerned about.
