Pulse Oximeter = Set to Off or During Sleep
When set to All Day it will be a big battery drainer
The big power drains are music, pulse Ox, and backlight.
It might be worth checking the settings on those items specifically (turn down the intensity and duration of the backlight in particular), and also performing a reset, but after that, you might want to contact Garmin Support for a brand new device that isn't lasting a day.
Restore factory settings. If that is not helping, return the watch. It must last more than a day even with all the bells and whistles enabled.
