Sleep Insights missing in new Sleep Widget Software 19.20

Hi Garmin fellows,

I have installed the new public release 19.20 on Friday and yesterday I lost the ability to see the sleep insights in the new sleep widget on the watch. When I went to check the widget, I couldn't see the option (which is suppose to be available by pressing start button). Then, I went to the GCM and all the sudden, GCM and watch started synchronising with the GCM data. This meant that I lost my activity data I did until that time and they were updated with all the data I had in the morning.

Anyone knows what is going on? Any suggestions? I have restarted and hard reset the watch few times. I have uninstalled and installed the widget again.

In Garmin connect I have the evidence but I'm unable to drag and drop images to the editor. It's working randomly for me

I'm on 19.20 via manual upgrade on my 6s Sapphire and I do have insights when pressing the start button from the sleep widgets.

Whth all the versione, sometimes I had not suggestions clicking in start. Anyway, I have it in the last page of the widget.

I've just checked a few minutes ago and I can see the sleep insights again. Not sure if the ability to show these sleep insights depend on something else. I will keep it an eye in case I find out the issue and I can recreate it. Other than that, I think this release is working ok, so far

I’m confused - what is different? I’m on 19.20 but I don’t see anything different in the sleep widget. What new features am I meant to be seeing?

I can't remember if the sleep score was there on the widget before 19.20 but the main difference I see now is on the Sleep section on Garmin Connect. It breaks out the Sleep score separately and breaks down which aspects added or deducted to your score. I had insights on the watch widget prior to 19.20

I hope the difference is that it now works without wasting a widget slot on the watch.

The widget on the watch always had the sleep score, but the one in the phone Connect app didn't. Now there is another sleep widget in Connect with the score call out separately, inside this it goes into a lot of details about each of your sleep stages and how well or bad your last nights sleep was.

You've got the same widget with three screens: the sleep score, your sleep graph and the duration. In these new firmware releases, Garmin added the ability to press 'Start' button to provide the sleep insights which should give you an advice as in the GCM app new sleep score widget. Next to the 'start' button there should be a small icon. My issue is that the icon and therefore, the insights disappear and appear depend on the day. Today it's gone again, for example. I don't know what is due to and therefore, I cannot recreate it and report it.

Lol!. The main different is that extra info or insights which are small comments about your sleep. No a big party as you've got the same comments in the GCM widget.

I'm seeing a widget with four screens, and the fourth is the sleep insight text. 19.20.
