19.20 still showing as 16.70 in Garmin Express

Minor bug, just installed 19.20 but still shows up as 16.70 in Garmin Express. The version is correctly displayed on the watch itself. In Garmin Express under Tools & Content, is does show 19.20 correctly too.

This is perfectly normal. Express shows you the stable version Express would push to you. I see the same, as I have manually installed the Beta's and now the official 19.20

I think this is normal, I always had that, also with Beta's.

When you manually install an update, it will not show that in Garmin Express, Garmin Express I believe only shows the version that Garmin has pushed to your wqatch, so if you're not in the first batch of the staged rollout, it will still show the previous version.

This is perfectly normal. Express shows you the stable version Express would push to you. I see the same, as I have manually installed the Beta's and now the official 19.20

As soon as your device id is in the update line, express will prompt you the new version. Everything is normal, don't worry and be patient.

Thanks. But my point is that I already updated to 19.20, and in the main screen it's still 16.70. I guess muppetman's would make sense then; it's the version that was last released from the platform to the watch. It is a bit confusing though, but just a minor issue.

Did you update using Express or using a file you download manually ? They are saying Express shows the versions it wants to push and if you updated manually (beta or not beta) it won't show that. So how did you install 19.20 ?

Manually using Garmins link in the forum. So it would make sense that GE shows in the main screen the version it wants to push indeed.

I got you. But the showed Version is the Version that is currently available to your from Garmin Update Service. As your device ID isn't included in the 20% release cycle yet, therefore it shows the "old" version 16.70.

This is normal for manually installed software updates.

In Garmin Express, click on the large "Tools & Content" pane for your watch and it will display the correct Software Version.

I can confirm the answers given are correct, I just got 19.20 via the update pipeline and it shows in my GE.

In what folder I must put the files to upgrade manualy?
