Headphones question

Just installed some music on my pro and connected my headphones. I have my watch in airplane mode during the day. When I am ready to workout I turn it on and my polar strap, cadence sensor and smart trainer reconnect automatically. It usually says searching under the widget. Now the headphones do not say searching, they just disconnected. So I press connect and I am good to go. Is there a reason why my headphones do not reconnect automatically? I assume it has to be the headphones.

My headphones seem to connect automatically to *the last device the headphones were connected to*. So, if it was my phone, even if the phone is in airplane mode, and even if I've previously connected those…

I have no specific knowledge of this, but as the headphones are such a major power drain compared with sensors, I imagine the no-auto-headphones is a power saving measure.

That is what I thought but a friend of mine says his auto reconnect. Although I think he has earphones and not a over the ear headphones like I have.

Please check your F6 Pro under Music/Headphone section, is your headphone/earphone still in the paired list? If yes, it should pair when your earphone/bluetooth turn on, if not, you need to pair them again.

Yes. It is in the pair list but shows as disconnected. So I have to press the button and click connect. It does not switch to searching like the other devices.

Some chinese brand from amazon i got for $40. noise cancelling and very good bass. the brand name is utaxo. It does reconnect to my iphone though. They are over the hear so it is possible that they act differently from the ones in the ear. although all the buttons from the headphones about skipping music and volume control work fine.

So, if it was my phone, even if the phone is in airplane mode, and even if I've previously connected those headphones to the Fenix... I have to do it manually from the watch. However- once connected- if I don't reconnect the headphones to my phone, they'll automatically connect to the watch.
