Fenix 6 All messed up

After coming back from a walk this morning, I noticed my Fenix 6 was stuck on yesterday's step total. It also won't operate the heart rate and pulse ox now. It gives me the "Pulse oximeter version mismatch. Update software message." I have connect it to my computer and ran the Garmin Express. It installed a bunch of map updates, and it says it has no more updates to run. After I disconnect from the computer, it has a message that it has an update to run. I allow it to do so, but it still has the same error.

Thoughts? Is this related a the recent new build? If so, I can get back to the version of my watch that worked. Thanks!

Then choose your model to go to the download page and instructions.

Yep. It's still 0.00. I had wanted to avoid a reset, but it looks like that's what's going to happen. I'm going to work with just resetting to the default settings.

Id suggest downloading the 19.20 update, stickied at the top - and manually update it - that should reinstall all missing bits

The download instructions don't work. It is not showing up as a drive. Other posts mention Android file transfer. That doesn't work either. This is beyond frustrating.

I just want my watch work like it hard. Why is a beta version being pushed as a public release?

1) The Fenix 6 uses MTP as a mechanism (like a mobile phone) so Android File Transfer allows you to mount the watch. It's easy, just make sure Garmin Express is closed. AFT opens up the watch as a window.

2) It is a public release, not a beta. Just many people wanted it so they opened it up for manual download

Windows 10 has native MTP support, OSX doesn't - hence the need for Android File Transfer - it basically gives OSX MTP support

Well, I have gotten the AFT to work. I put in the file according to the instructions, and the issues persist.

When you disconnected the watch - did it recognise the update?
Did you download the correct file (it's often easy to get it wrong. The non map watches get the one, pro/solar/sapphire share the same update)
