Rollout appears to be delayed.
However, I'm happy to wait a little longer if bugs encountered during the initial 10% rollout were identified and are being fixed before further rollout continues.
Need another option - No but I don't care as I'm happy to wait
Personally I learned to never download another firmware update immediately upon its release. Even if available.
I know. But, the numbers in the poll doesnt show big problems with the rollout.
Ya that's true, perhaps they found something else that nobody here has yet discovered themselves, but for some reason they deemed it to be critical
That is a possibility. Update went smoothly. Did not lose anything. I have not found any problems with the workouts i am doing. Cycling with my smart trainer is still fine. No ohr issue, no pulse ox turning on by itself, no battery drain. Load and training effect seems the same. Same with vo2max. I also do strength training. Gps did not get updated from 4.40 so i did it manually with the beta file. Although i do not do any outside workout so i do not use it. I have not swum in a while so cannot comment on that either. There are so many activities and some could have issues. Maybe it is a problem with the servers pushing the update.

It could very well be this problem - cited by many - that is holding up the rollout.
The GPS update failure, by itself, may not be a major deal; but why it didn't update as expected may be symptomatic of a much bigger problem.
Sure, we cognoscenti who know how to access the updated GPS file from a previous Beta release may not be affected at all, but that is certainly not true for the majority of users.
Bottom line: my 6x Pro is chugging along just fine with software version 16.70, so I am content to wait and see how this resolves.
19.10 has now officially ceased to exist, with that thread renamed to 19.20.
My second F6X is still on 16.70, updated manually to GPS 5.30.
FWIF.. I have 19.10 and am able to sync PacePro plans to my watch (via Connect Mobile). They end up in /Garmin/PaceBands. It's jut an idea but if you know someone who _can_ sync pacepro strategies, perhaps they can mail these files to you and _perhaps_ it's possible to put them directly in this directory, or in /Garmin/NewFiles (not sure which) via MTP. I am not volunteering for this - I don't know if it will work, can't test it (maybe they are tied to a serial number), the serial number of my device is in it which I can't change, and I can't verify that there is not more information in these files that I don't want to share (the pacepro fit files look simple enough, but they are not documented except for the file-id part, so you just never know exactly what's included).
perhaps they found something else that nobody here has yet discovered
Quite possible. Risks/vulnerabilities/potential issues are discovered all the time, sometimes necessitating fixes or other measures when software might be directly or indirectly affected.
I think 19.10 was withdrawn (unfortunately without any user informations- bad customer support) and 19.20 rollout has started, now.
Yes, some official information have been good. The 19.10 was pulled (without official explanation) and was replaced with 19.20 which is unclear if its a beta or production release. Strange!
