WhatApp on Android only notifying messages during Activity on Fenix6X Pro Solar

I had a Forerunner 935 and was able to get WhatsApp text notifications on my watch no problem. When I upgraded to the Fenix 6X Pro Solar, I'm no longer able to get WhatsApp to notify me, UNLESS I'm in an activity. So, unless I'm in ac activity, I don't get notified to WhatsApp Calls or Messages. I don't know why, and I've searched and tried the recommended suggestions. Please, any help would be great! I'm kinda of regretting upgrading, to a degree, and it would be great to have this working again.

Also, in the watch settings (hold up menu) Phone/Smart notifications/Not during activity check your settings..

Have you enabled WhatsApp in Garmin Connect/settings/ notifications/ app notifications?

YOU'RE AMAZING!! I've tried all the other things, but I'd never found it suggested to go to the watch itself and adjust the settings there. THAT was the fix: Watch Settings (Hold up) > Phone > Smart Notifications > Not During Activity - Set to "Show All" (Was previously set to "Show Calls and Texts").
