My garmin F6x bricked with some fw issue. I RMA for a replacement. Had it a few months. just in the past two days. I noticed that the vibration notifcation. Not normal. not normal at all. It does almost sound is if its loose or something. Not sure how else to describe. Its just different. I dont know how long a replacement RMA watch has warranty for. but I hope is more than 30 days.
Update: I chatted with customer support. The bad new is the RMA replacement I got in Feb 2020, only had a 90 warranty. So I've crap out of luck with that. Unless I want to drop $190 for a repair. The other new that might help others. They recommended I take off the band. As absurd as that sounds, I did take it off and the gawd awful vibration did sound different. So I'm experiment with and without band. but maybe that is a component to the issue. Somehow the bad placement was making it seem worse. something to try for those of you out of warranty
I am sorry you had an issue with your watch. When you warranty replace a Fenix watch, you will continue your original warranty unless it is ending in less than 90-days. If you are less than 90-days from it expiring or you exchange your watch outside of warranty, then you will receive the 90-day warranty on the rebuilt replacement.
