pair a polar H10 to my new fenix 6 sapphire

hii , im new to garmin devices , im about to buy a fenix 6 sapphire in a flash sale but i also found the polar H10 on discount too , the problem im not sure if i can pair the polar H10 with the fenix or the garmin pairs only to garmin's chest straps ?

Polar H10 does connect with Fenix 6 series without issues, that is currently my Hr strap i'm using with my bike sessions.

And is BLE as well, so it can be connected with Fenix 6 and see your HR on…

Hello,

Technically speaking you should be able to connect any BLE and/or ANT+ HR strap with a fenix 6. I personally run with a Garmin fenix 6 Sapphire paired (via ANT+) with a Polar H10 and they work seamlessly together.

Hi, i have the h10 sensor and have just connected this to my 265 forerunner, so, how do i read the h10 heart stats within the garmin app or watch please? Which heart sensor will my watch read now ive the h10 connected, I only see the one and that's most likely the watch ? Any advice would be appreciated please, wasn't sure wether to make a new post or not as first time posting on here, cheers !

if you download the polar beat app and pair the h10, you will have the ability to turn on a switch to be able to connect 2 bt devices. i would connect the h10 to the 265 using ant+ and not bt.

I have an H10 as well. With a current firmware version on the H10, you can connect it with the F6 using either BLE or ANT+ (you have to activate ANT+ in the Polar Flow app beforehand). You'll see two sensors on the F6 when trying to pair the H10 with ANT+ activated, just choose the one that suits you better.

If I understood it correctly, an external sensor will override the one built into the watch.

Thks, so I now have the h10 connected and when I click on an activity the polar 'connected' flashes on, but there is no option on the 265 to see which sensor is being displayed, shows just one heart rate and I'm not sure if this is the 265 or the h10, on the polar beat app it does show the same heart rate as the 265 though, hmm

I only see one heart rate which is the normal 265 display, no option on activity to chooses
