Update to 19.10 question

Don't worry. All components of the watch will get updated.

Do I need to keep connecting it to the pc with garmin express and sync to force the gps update? Or should I get the file from a beta and install it in the remotesw folder?

You don't have to connect watch to express as long as watch is paired with connect app on mobile. Connect app will automatically sends required updates to your watch. Just ensure that you watch has enough charge left. 

Ok. Will see if that works. Originally I had software update off on the watch to stay at 12.20. Will keep checking for the gps update. Thanks. 

my fenix 6 pro solar updated to 19.10 overnight, but my GPS also shows 5.00 instead of 5.30.

Should it not be updated as well?

Same here. Mine stayed at 4.4. Called garmin and they told me to wait. I doubt it will update though. I could do it manually from the beta file but I mainly do indoor workouts. So I am not going to mess with it. I think something did not update well. It looks is supposed to be a 2 steps update. Did your sensor hub shows 11?

Sensor Hub is at 11.01

Where could I get the Sensor Hub 11.01? Mine is stuck at 8.00
