Download link to 19.10 please

The post has no link for that that don't want to wait for Connect Express to show the update. Could somebody provide one please. Thanks.

  • I’d say that as Garmin’s last two releases were not so great that they had to stop the roll outs, they’re just making sure this one is good. As much as I’m eager myself, that’s a good thing.

  • If you’re from IT you should know, that you can never test enough. Garmin releases it on 10% devices - if noone complains, they can keep releasing to more people. Worst case they stop the release and just a few devices will need to be reflashed in warranty process.

  • Thats not Windows. If you have one stabile device it should Work. Guess they Hardware ist almost the Same, not like a computer with millions of different Hardware

  • At the end of the day, even when we have different opinions, we are all expecting something from Garmin because we have become Garmin monstersJoyJoy We want the most accuracy watch, the best feature, be in the first 10% in receiving updates... We are like those people waiting for hours at the front of the apple store but sitting on our sofas with the Garmin forum opened on our device's screen. For this reason, as a Gamin monster, I would like to see post where they tell you what is going on (i.e.: This update will be rolled out to the 10% of devices until we receive some feedback that everything is working ok......) I don't know, a little bit less professional and informative, I would be more grateful.

  • I agree, we're (generally) the slightly more weird ones (no offence, that's how I class myself) that have a slightly unhealthy obsession with this stuff to the point we're checking multiple times a day/week for an update to a watch that when we finally get will probably make little to no difference to anything meaningful but still, we want it. Smiley

I think it would be in Garmin's interest to entertain us and be more engaging. It's us weird ones that usually promote these things to family and friends who in turn trust our enthusiasm and end up purchasing one for themselves. I realise that maybe 2-3 units extra is nothing in the big scheme of things but occasionally there will be one of us on these forums that ends up doing a YouTube video that perhaps tens or possibly hundreds of thousands will see, and if that person is saying how amazing Garmin are with their communication and support then it comes across positively even if those watching have don't care about firmware updates etc, it will still play in to decision making and general perception of the company as a whole.

So, yeah - I do think Garmin (and many other companies) are missing a big (and cheap) trick to just entertain us slightly, have one Garmin person that is generally attempting to answer questions and can go away and chat to the devs and relay that info in a careful manner, then keep us updated and attempt to provide things like an alternative download to these firmware updates etc.

  • One stable device should work.  Yah... but from the gecko,  some ppl have issues with gps,  some dont, some have issues with hr, some dont, some have battery drains, some dont... etc...

  • someone could just upload the file and post the link,
    instead many useless comments here.

  • I do not think garmin releases stable firmware as files. You can only update via garmin express or the mobile app when it becomes available to you depending on your serial number.

  • No, that's nonsense. I have often copied updates from one clock to another.

  • Only with beta files. I do not recall garmin posting links to stable firmware. With beta files you get the previous stable release inside to be able to revert. So if a new beta comes out after 19.10, then inside you will get 19.10 stable.
