The post has no link for that that don't want to wait for Connect Express to show the update. Could somebody provide one please. Thanks.

It would be great if Garmin could give all beta testers the opportunity to update to 19.10. Either through Garmin Express or through a manual download link. I have tested almost every beta since i bought…
It's bizarre that Garmin is totally cool with us dropping BETA firmware on our devices, sometimes with crappy outcomes, but they aren't down with giving testers the ability to move from BETA to stable…
I'm just saying that having Express tell me that "there are updates" but then no updates get installed might be related to having a beta installed, or are you saying that everyone sees the…
IMO it's just how garmin works. Same story with for ex. Nvidia, and many other big corporations. They don't care anymore - they start to care if sales drop, but not before that ;)
Maybe they have changed (part(s) of) their development team. There are signs of it in the beta releases.
Also we have no idea how busy the release people are. It may be that they're doing this on their free time to help out the fanatics and as far as Garmin management is concerned, they don't want to make any extra effort.
Could be that the same people are responsible for releasing many devices or that they're working on unreleased product as well as legacy product and they just don't have time to do all the manual stuff on the forum this time around.
Software development is a lot more messy than people think. I am very happy that Garmin continues to release betas and get feedback from us avid users. It is better than leaving their products static.
Is there anything we don't already have in 18.80 that's in 19.10? Looks like the same list of updates that we already have.
I'm still having that problem with temperature not being displayed on my pool swim app. Not that it's important, as the watch does record temp, just doesn't display it in an active field. Gives me something to complain about to my fellow swimmers. Our outdoor pools are pretty warm this time of year (Been 88-91F). Contacted beta support- but no response.
The way I checked is to go to connect.garmin.com and check under the top right icon. It told me that with firmware was 12.20 and 19.10 was available. So i connected it to garmin express and I got the update.
The version of the sensor hub is now 11. I think the beta has 8.
That only worked because your device was in the rollout group. If I look there I see my software is up to date (18.80 so it recognises I have the beta)
So you do not see 19.10 below your 18.8? I had 12.20 as current firmware and below that it showed 19.10. It used to show 16.70 but never upgraded. This time I had 10 gig of maps to update too.
yes, same here - i only see 16.0 as the latest software
Mine did the "New firmware to install" in GC so plugged the watch in, accepted the "EULA" then came back to nothing, no update and no GUPDATE on the watch.
Weird. I see it has happened to others too.
