Going back to previous lap if skipped accidentally

Dear all,

I sometimes accidentally skip the lap and unable to go back to it again. It is very annoying if you press the next button accidentally and cannot go back to your session/lap. It also happens in coach plan.

Is there a way to go back to previous lap to the point where you accidentally pressed next button?

Unfortunately you cannot undo skipping a lap, to my knowledge. But there's something you can do to prevent accidental key presses (and that's what I do): In the settings, you can disable the lap key, and they you can assign long-press of the lap key as a hotkey to the "lap" function. That way accidental short presses of the lap key don't do anything, but long-pressing the key allows you to skip to the next lap, if you want.

Not on the watch itself, but there are applications that can add/remove lap markers from the activity's fit file for purposes of data analysis on Garmin Connect.
