Fenix 6X Sapphire Stuck in Boot Up Cycle

Today I updated my Garmin app. A couple minutes later I noticed my screen was frozen. I did a soft reset as I have many times for maintenance.

1. The watch shut off and rebooted

2. but got stuck between the logo screen and the white Garmin font.

3. watch just keeps shifting from logo to white Garmin font.

I called Garmin and they had me follow the hard reset instructions. It did not work. I can not connect to my computer because the watch will not boot up.

my only option from Garmin is a $190 replacement. I spent over $700 on this watch a tad over a year ago and this is the only option for a watch on mint condition.

Can anyone help me fix me watch?

What did you update?

Try shutting down the watch. Then

Press start then quickly press and hold top and bottom right.
Release top right on first beep.
Release bottom right on second beep.

If that doesn't work you might have no choice but to contact Garmin Support again.

Thanks for the tip. They ran me through that one on the phone earlier. I appreciate the help!

I just updated the Garmin app on my iPhone, thats all. Not sure if this is related but it was a bit strange.

Coincidence.

Try the steps above a few times. Sometimes it does take multiple attempts.

Otherwise, there appears to be little choice but to arrange something with Garmin Support.

I have done that hard reset at least 20 plus times so far. I really wanna get this thing working again. I use it for everything.

If you haven't already, try the Secondary Master Reset 3-4 times in the Support Center article below. Sometimes, the alternate master reset will resolve being stuck on the logo.

No I was never able to fix the watch. I had to order a replacement. Crazy.
