Just been a run on the treadmill and my Fenix 6 reported 0 pace, and 0 distance. I ran for about 35 mins or so, but no movement on the Garmin.
Any thoughts?

GPS is turned off for indoor activities. When running or walking with GPS turned off, speed, distance, and cadence are calculated using the accelerometer in your Fenix. The accelerometer is self-calibrating. The accuracy of the speed, distance, and cadence data improves after a few outdoor runs or walks using GPS.

NOTE: Holding the handrails of the treadmill reduces accuracy. You can use an optional foot pod to record pace, distance, and cadence.
You mention an "optional foot pod" but I am unable to find any such accessory on the Garmin site. Can you recommend one, or better yet link to one?
Many thanks!
I am sorry we cannot recommend any specific brand and/or where to buy one. My advice would be to create a new forum thread asking the community what Food Pod they prefer and why. There have been many debates within the forums and there are 1-2 that come up the most often. Also, internet search, "Best Foot Pods" and you will find many brands to choose from and excellent informational articles that will help you make a good choice.
This was my first indoor run for a while, recently all my runs have been outdoor. I ran for about 40 mins on the treadmill, at the ned there was no option to calibrate and no distance was recorded
Do you use a different profile for treadmill running vs outdoor? Fenix 6 does actually have a separate Treadmill activity profile, and it works OK for me, although the distance is typically too long (but that can be calibrated).
