When i pause activity, Fenix6 finishes it after ~30 mins - how to stop this ??

When i pause activity, Fenix6 finishes it after ~30 mins, how to stop this behaviour?

for example, when i ride my bike, and in a middle i stop for a coffee or lunch, i want only to pause activity and continue later,

but fenix after some timeout (about 30 mins?) finished completely my activity.

I have never experienced that, but I always select the option to resume later if I want to keep my bike ride in 1 activity.

Is it possible it has to do with the power saving option that also switches off an activity if you have selected it, but didn't start?

i guess it's some power saving, however i run my fenix on 'normal' mode

Resume later is the way to go here. It will then let you restart the activity when you are ready.

Either you activate autopause or stop manually the recording and then "resume later"

ok, i don't remember exactly if I only stopped activity, or chose 'resume later' as well

The save and resume later returns you to the watchface. In my usage of it, it's never automatically restarted it.
