I have had a Garmin Fenix 6 since it was released in the UK and it has been mostly ok since day 1. I woke up this morning and my watch woud not synchronise and also had a different watch face. I tried adding and removing the watch on my phone, resetting the watch to factory defaults, but no improvement.
I removed all traces of the watch from my phone and did a factory reset on the watch. I was then able to add the watch to my Samsung Galaxy S10+ phone and the setup completed, but it fals when trying to sync the watch with the phone and I am not able to setup wifi or any of the remaining 5 features. I have retried this 4 times today and it fails in the same place. I have also tried this with an iphone and have a similar result where I am unable to finish a sync after setting up the watch.
Weird things to note are the watch face - this seems to be a Tactix watch face (never loaded something like that and have never had the urge). Also, when restarting, it seems to do a factory resest each time. I have wasted a few hours on this today instead of training, so any help would be much appreciated.
