I find this kind of weird but I purchased the Garmin Tactix Delta Sapphire edition on eBay and I noticed that the backlight is always on. I love it like that but I've watched dozen of video and read a bunch of spec sheets and no one ever mentioned that it did this. It's always on no matter, it never times out. And it's so dim that it doesn't bother me at night. It's kind of like the night vision backlight but the heart rate monitor works.
With all of that said i decided to purchase the Garmin Tactix Delta Solar edition, and i noticed that the watch doesn't do this with the backlight. There is no always on backlight. Is there a setting that I'm missing? I'm pretty sure I've checked all of the settings. Is it normal that my Sapphire edition has a backlight that's always on?
I've looked everywhere online and i don't see anyone that speaks on this.
