Can't access Spotify on new Garmin 6

I can't figure out what I am doing wrong - I just got a new Garmin 6, downloaded spotify and some music to it, but now when I either select the spotify widget or hold the down button, the watch just goes back to the watch face and does not go to spotify. How do I fix this? Many thanks.

I am sorry your new watch isn't going into your music player like it should. You are doing everything correctly per your manual, "Listening to Music".

Only the Fenix 6/S/X Pro supports music, the non-Pro Fenix 6 series does not support music.

I am sorry your new watch isn't going into your music player like it should. You are doing everything correctly per your manual, "Listening to Music".

You can double check your button shortcuts by going to your System > Hot Keys menu to ensure your "Hold Down" option still says "Music Controls".

If still showing set to music controls, power your watch off then back on again. Test again. You can try a Soft reset your watch by holding down your top left button until it shuts off, then let go.
