Cannot create a playlist for local songs on Garmin Fenix 6

I have a Garmin Fenix 6X Pro. I would like to create a playlist for local songs that I have on the watch. I have realized that playlists only come from Music providers such as Spotify. Is it just me or is that actually the case?

You can create local .m3u playlists and copy them in your music folder... They should be detected by the watch.

Spotify is the easiest since it has the app. I was able to upload Apple playlist to my watch. Go to connect express. Scroll down and look for the music option. follow the steps to add your playlist from your player.
