Anyone else having problems with maps and MapInstaller?

I was double checking Basecamp and realized I had 

CourseView Int Europe

So I guess that's not the same thing as TopoActive

I guess I could toggle off the Americas maps (switch from green/to gray) will that free up some space on my Fenix? And will they be available if I decide to travel there later? Just update and reinstall?

Courseview is I think the Golf maps, but could be wrong. If you toggle them off, they don't get deleted off the watch - merely not loaded.

The coverage of/course view maps are golf maps.

Because Express only offers you TopoActive Americas maps, I think you have a non European device- otherwise there should been installed the TopoActive Eruope maps on your device and Express should offer you these maps, too.

Thanks for your help.  I saw the course view Europe and thought it was European maps, after talking to others I realized I needed the TopoActive Maps. I went on the Garmin site and bought the maps for Europe now everything seems fine.  Like I said, I'm still learning how to use my watch

Yep, Sorry I didn't reply earlier but life got in the way.  Thanks to your help I realized I didn't actually have to TopoActive maps for Europe so I purchased them from the Garmin site now everything seems to be working.  Thanks again for your help and patience

Thanks, I bought the watch in an American store so it seems it was loaded with the American maps.  With your and others help I realized I didn't actually have the TopoActive maps for Europe so I bought them from the Garmin site and installed them so now everything seems to be working like I wanted.
