(Solved) : Connect IQ data page Full

A very annoying bug when you already add 2 connect iq data field, but when cannot replace with new connect iq field. the watch claimed I had fully booked the 2 connect iq data slots, even I already deleted all the data field pages. For me this happened when I duplicated my RUN ACTIVITY PROFILE.

The solution is to "Restore Defaults" inside the "Activity Profile settings" and FINALLY solved my nightmare.GrinGrinGrin.

    I also realized that both my Fenix 6X and Enduro falsely claimed that I already used 2/2 ciq datafield. I think this mistake comes from the earlier use and later  removal of ciq datafields. In other words the software of the watch sometimes cannot handle the removal of ciq datafields. This bug is very similiar to the another one:  sometimes even if you choose a ciq datafield X to a slot of a datascreen, then later that slot will be filled with another ciq datafield Y, as if their internal IDs were mixed.

    Anyway I was fed up with Restore defaults, so I made some tests. I had always suspected that maybe the hidden datafields of a map page were counted as used ciq datafields still after the removal of map page. But when I readded a map , changed its 2 datafields to something else, and finally removed the map page, it did not always gave me back the original 0/2 state

    Thus I had a wild idea. I added all the datascreen types apart from custom data page like elevation, map, virtual partner, clock, fish etc until there was no other option than the addition of custom data page. I changed again the 2 data field slots of map to something else, then removed all the additional datascreen, and voila the bug disappeared.

    I repeated this sequence thrice, twick with walk apps and once with a ttrail run app. With the same success.

    Conclusion: the code of these watches is buggy, it confuses some of the non-custom data pages and ciq datafields. The other conclusion is that it is a bit easier to add some datascreens and to remove them than restoring the sports app and check all its options including the primary and secondary data of auto lap, as an example.
