VO2max .XX reported value & Runalyze

Hello all,
I've been following my Garmin VO2max values on Runalyze for a few months, since it allows you to see 2 digits after the comma while the watch only displays the integer value.
Since I do so, the values have always been coherent : Runalyze displayed 50.25 for Garmin value, Watch would display 50. When I reached 50.60 or 50.75, Watch would round up to 51.
However, on my last two runs - since I updated to version 16.70 (I think) - my VO2max on the watch has read 52, while it appears Runalyze respectively got 50.95 and 51.18...
Anyone seen miliar changes in the expected behaviour ?

you can't being going out too much with the current weather - mine is up to 21%

Been out every day this week! It's not really gone much above 21C here but its the humidity that's killer at the mo.

I think I tend to believe Runalyze which gives me 30.34. Garmin gives me... 39. No way this is correct. Garmin's been smoking funny things. But at least Garmin and Runalyze seen to go up together. Btw, both have the same custom maxHR and HR zones.

Yay, I'm now on 7% Heat Acclimation. Felt really hot outside today

I noticed a change of reported VO2 Max in the .FIT file today. I'm not sure if its related to the new 17.72 Beta or if its related to the Heat Acclimation feature.

There is now 2 different VO2 Max values in the end section of the .FIT file. One of them is lower than the other. Maybe that's affecting Runalyze also. Depends on which VO2 Max value they are using.

I'll have a nose tonight when I do my run. Wonder if one of them is the 'un-acclimated" one? For processing elsewhere?

Yes, that's my guess. One is Heat Acclimated and the other is not.

Could you point me to how you are checking the VO2max values in the .fit file ? Would probably save me some time :)

It is not that simple. I first convert the .FIT file to .CSV with the Java tools in the SDK. Then i manually finds the VO2 Max raw values in the converted file. Then converts it to friendly format. Its more simple to upload the file to Runalyze and look at the values there.
