There is absolutely nothing wrong with my Fenix 6 Pro Solar

Yes these types of forums, no matter the specific device or device involved always draw the folks who have issues (I mean, that IS somewhat the intention after all…). Ends up giving a perspective which is PERHAPS just the vocal minority….perhaps. Not to minimize or lessen the actual problems that people are having, not at all. Just saying for every person who posts here w problems, there are potentially 10 people who have no issue, just cruise along, all good…and who probably aren’t even aware these forums exist!

Try the Coros Vertix nylon band. Fits perfectly on 22mm fenix springbars (no quick release though) and is super comfortable.

To me a thread like this (there's nothing wrong with my watch) is absolutely on par with those who tell nothing works on their device. I see no reasons to became partisans in a war where either you're 100% pro Garmin or 100% against it.

No reason not to believe in the good faith of the OP intentions. He/she probably never goes into scenarios where something falls apart, or maybe is not aware of a feature which is objectively buggy (like heat acclimation or activity weather info in general) so he/she can't complain about it.

Reasonable people are those who write respectfully their thoughts, even when they absolutely smash a totally broken sensor/feature/upgrade/whatever.

Mine is also a Fenix 6 Pro (titanium) and has been a reliable piece of gear since August 2019.
That was not the case with my 5X and my 5XPlus. Both units have been changed once under warranty.
My Instinct was a real jewel and my first flawless experience with Garmin's watches and so is my Fenix 6.

It is not a matter to be a partisan.  I got also issue with my Fenix 6 but they are not bothering.
An example is the battery drain with Bluetooth.
OK I have learn to use the Battery Saver. And it helps a lot.
I got the Compass which get mad. The calibration doesn't work.
But I have found that even with a failed calibration the compass goes back to normal behaviour.

I come to this forums to get hints and tips and new Beta and to answer question and help my fellow forumites.
Meanwhile after two years of happy wearing, I'm looking forward to see if I will jump on the new Fenix 7...

My 6X Pro Solar meets my needs and there are no showstoppers. Everything works. There is always room to improve on accuracy of data, but (with a chest strap and Stryd) the data quality is good enough for my amateur/recreational lifestyle and training demands. 

I won't go so far as to say there's nothing wrong with my Fenix, but I will say that my almost 2-year experience with the Fenix 6X has been overwhelmingly positive. The hardware, especially, has been superb and I can definitely say there's nothing wrong with my hardware at all. And the build quality of the Sapphire editions is insane, my watch could still pass for "factory mint condition" even after countless mountaineering expeditions, falls, and banging it into stuff. The firmware and software still has a few glitches here and there, but 99% of it is working as expected.

Overall, I can honestly say my Fenix was one of the best investments (not financially obviously, but in terms of improving my wellbeing and enjoyment of life) that I've ever made. It's substantially improved my enjoyment of outdoor activities, and the benefits it brings me far outweigh any occasional bugs or glitches I run into from time to time. It gets me to go outdoors more than I used to before, it encourages me to stay fit, and (perhaps my favorite thing) it allows me to totally geek out on activity data.

If my 6x broke or got lost or stolen today, I'd buy another one in a heartbeat, no question. (Well, actually if I had to buy a new one today, it would be a Tactix Delta Solar, because solar+sapphire=awesome, but you guys get my point )

I overall agree with you! The Fenix 6X Pro Solar is a great device but there are few really annoying things (software/algorithm issues with pace and distance) and if Garmin fixed them I would be really satisfied.
