Murph Challenge tracking?

Hey, guys, I have a Tactix Delta Solar and was wondering if anybody can recommend the best way to track the Murph Challenge? If anybody doesn’t know what it is:it a 1 mile run front and back and 100 pull ups/200situps/300squats in the middle. Is there a better way to track it as a whole workout rather then track an outdoor run, finish it, track cardio or strength-finish it, and do an outside mile again? Thank you.

  • I think you can use Cross Training APP.

  • This has really got me curious, because I want to set up exactly the same thing on my watch, too.

So I did a little more poking around, and what I came up with was to make these 2 workouts on Connect, and sync them to my watch...

    "Murph Run":

    • Run 1 mile

    "Murph Cardio":

    • Do 100 pullups
    • Do 200 situps
    • Do 300 squats

Then I made a custom 3-activity multisport called "Murph", consisting of these activities:

    1. Run
    2. Cardio
    3. Run

The idea, then, is to apply the "Murph Run" workout to the Run activities in the multisport activity, and apply the "Murph Cardio" workout to the cardio activity.

Unfortunately, I'm stuck now, though.... when I try to apply a workout to my multisport activity, the watch tells me there aren't any compatible workouts on my watch.

Does anyone have any idea how to make workouts that are compatible with a multisport activity? So far I can only get it to load my  workouts from the Run or Cardio single-sport activities, but my Run-Cardio-Run multisport activity is telling me there are no compatible workouts on the watch.

  • Thank you, I’ll give that a try, I also downloaded and got the pro version of the cross training app. My question is if the multi sport activity when complete with a run/cardio/run will save with two separate maps of the run?

  • It does both:

    • In the multisport activity's summary page, it shows all the tracks from all the individual activities on one map
    • If you then open an individual activity from there (for example, the first 1mi Run), the map displays only the track for that activity.
