So I just learned that downloading and reuploading the .tcx file gives me the correct running distance compared to a massively reduced, and hence slower route. Cool!
I'm currently doing one of the Garmin Coach timed 10k programmes. There's little chance that I'll finish it in the chosen slowest time because I'm a certified slow runner, and because of the poor track in Garmin connect. Above changes everything! But can I do this in a running coach programme? After all, it's supposed to be adaptive, and when I suddenly get a faster (real) pace then everything needs to be recalculated. Will I get into trouble doing this? Will this mess up the coach programme?
