How to delete a sport profile... Permanently?

For some reason I have 2 Hike profiles named Hike & Hike(2) in my F6Pro.sports list. I haven't created the Hike(2) profile & want to permanently delete it from my device but can't find a way to do it.

I can add/remove it from the active profiles on the watch & can Install/Uninstall from GCM it but that doesn't remove the profile completely, it is still listed as available to add back to the device.

If I connect my F6 to a computer & delete the Hike(2).fit file it gets recreated when I disconnect.

I've seen some threads suggesting that there should be a delete option in the profile setting but there isn't one for the Hike or Hike(2) profiles, which suggests the device thinks that both profiles are 'built-in' profiles, which can't be deleted

Does anyone know how to delete it permanently? Cheers

Go to the Activities and Apps settings. You can delete it there.

Thanks. But if I go to the app settings for the Hike & Hike(2) apps there isn't a delete option..

All I have is:

Hike(2) or Hike Settings

Set as Favourite

Copy Activity

Reorder

Remove from List

Go Settings

Scroll to Activities and Apps

I have duplicated three types of cycling workouts

No menu "Delete from Device"

The same nonsense in the Garmin.Connect app

Then in REMOVED, but in List! And I can Install it

If I mount the device using the MTP, I will again see the FIT files in the list.

If I delete these files, they reappear!

Remove from the list first. Then go back in from Activities and Apps

This doesn't work either. It is as though the device believes the Hike(2l profile is built in & built in profiles can't be deleted.

Even deleting the sport fit file after removing the sport profile from the list on the device results in the profile being recreated when you disconnect the device

It does work. List all the steps you are taking on your watch.

I feel like I'm having a discussion with Garmin support. I really appreciate you attempts to help & you have been very helpful in the past.

In this case though, I have been through your steps as well as various other permutations & no matter what I do I never get the option to Delete from Device for either profile
