It is not clear based on support topic, is it possible to see other group members location directly on the watch screen during performing activity?

I haven't tried it yet, but that's the way I understand it.
These instructions are for…
Thank you!
It seems I need to encourage my friends with fenix and MARQ to perform an activity in the same time %)
I know for 40 km limit, but all of us in the same city.
Ditto - and most of my "group" activities are done outside of cell service so the feature wouldn't work anyways. Been wanting to try it for ages - maybe I'll set it up with my kid's Instinct tonight and…
If you do guys, report back :)
Took me a bit longer to test than I had expected. I tried a GroupTrack session with my son on his FR245 and my f6 Sapphire to see if I could track his location via my watch map. Failed. It looks like the FR245 does not have the GroupTrack function enabled based upon the lack of a GroupTrack option in his Garmin Connect app.
I'll see if I can get my mate to test it with me next week. It looks promising..
It completely slipped my mind to try this out. I'll try to rememer to give it a go tonight (with my 6X and my son's Instinct)
I messed around with it for a while, trying everything discussed in this and other threads, watched some youtube videos, read the oversimplified Garmin instrctions, and tried all kinds of different settings, and....
...no luck.
But I recently read someone say that it only worked for them when the devices were a significant distance apart from each other. So maybe the map won't show the other person when they're standing right next to you? So that's my next thing to try, before I give up.
That's it! I use it exactly same with my stepson who has VA3 and live track enable. My F6Pro shows for a while some icon and connected user. After that it's necessary to select him in menu (I don't know the item exactly) and then I can see him on the map. But it's delayed because live track isn't live, so even if we ride side by side, I see him about 200m far away from me.
And You have to add the friend in users in Garmin connect, without that the group track doesn't work.
