No idea. I'm not going to try.
Tomorrow afternoon I will connect my watch to GE, as I do every Friday afternoon to grab updates and charge for the forthcoming week and if anything is offered then so…
Doesn't firmware backdating cause the watch to lose its settings though? I thought I remembered seeing that somewhere. If so, that's important to know before you step the firmware back. I personally won…
You get an RC stating it's rolling out in a few days for absolutely months and months.
This is replaced by another RC that sits there for months and months.
Then get a broken maps update.
Then out…

Oh yeah it does. Though I suppose if you're doing it as some important feature is bricked, that does change things
To tell you the truth since 12.20 I have not seen any major fix or improvements that forces me to update. Looks like more damage is being done. If they fix the body battery like with the new venue or add perceived load, then I may update. Why fix what is not broken?
Fair enough, totally understand..... agree if not broke. I'm hoping a few of those features do come our way - as well as the ability to rate each workout on the watch
My guess is on June 2nd when they announce the new forerunner version.
Is that the 955?
Are you sure about that?
Theoretically FR55 and FR255, there is an FCC filing with the last secrecy day June 2nd for that, just no device name/names obviously.
that looks like some forerunners with the new elevate 4 sensors and really nothing new. if they do plan to release a fenix 7, it will have to show some new mind blowing metrics that maybe measure muscle load and so on.
For me the 16.60 seems to work ok as wel on my F6 Pro. So i will stick with the version for now, not interested in taking the time to loose settings just to downgrade if no issues arise.
Hopefully they will send out a new Beta soon that will cover the 16.60 stuff as well as bug fixes for the stuff that seems to be causing issues with the 16.60
