Trying to embrace PacePro, not sure I'm fully getting it..
I get the intention and setup: mimics an old school pacing wrist band, and does the calculations for you based on your preference/style. Great.
But when executing, are the splits dynamically adjusted on the fly to hit your intended target (time/pace - effectively one in the same thing)? ie. On a 10km run with 1km splits, if I under/over-perform on the first few km are the remaining stepped up/down to hit your time?
Also, on the watch screen itself, I see the target split space and actual split space, progress distance within that split, and whether you are +/- your target time. But what I don't see is your estimated finish time / overall average pace - in other words, assuming I'm human and haven't nailed each of my splits so far to perfection, it's difficult to gauge how I'm doing overall in relation to my target without at least a bit of maths in my head. It tells me I'm say 1min35secs down, but I don't easily know how to action that - do I just stick with the splits and they'll bring me back (ie. dynamic splits per above question)? Or do I need to go faster, and if so by how much (other than go harder until the deficit has gone - not a very scientific pacing approach!)?
Or should I be using this screen in combination with another screen showing the values I feel I need?
Or am I just missing the point entirely?!
