Using fenix 6 map on Reem Island in Abu Dhabi

umm, update your maps through Garmin Express? Or look for some open source maps that include the island.

And be sure you buy the model with right map. If you bought your device from abroad, it may have a different map set.

Or you can install some OpenStreetMap based maps.

After updating maps through Garmin Express, It does not change...

Did you buy the watch in UAE? (Amit is the distributor - or was when I lived there) - then ask them which maps are included. Garmin is not super at disclosing included detail maps. Previously when I bought through Amit they gave MENA maps with some of the watches if the maps was not standard in the watch.

would be the correct one to buy for better UAE maps. I do not think they are "included" with the watch.

But you could generate the map yourself from OpenStreetMap as the above is mostly generated from OSM.

I purchased the watch here but it came with the EU maps which does me no good. I contacted Garmin and they would not switch my maps, so I ended up paying for the TopoActive maps...There are other alternatives as noted in my posting from the helpful community here so you can always try one of those.
