running w\ baby stroller - designated app?

fenix 6, is there a running mode\app for running with a stroller?

the stroller demands more force into each step so you're slower and your HR is higher.

quite expectedly, the watch immediately ranks my "performance condition" as negative and the "training status" as "unproductive".

is there a way to deal w\ this nuisance?

I do not have a definitive answer, but I imagine that you could use Trail Run without VO2max Estimation enabled. This would record everything useful that a Run would, but avoid messing with PC and VO2max.

Agree - use Trail Running with VO2Max max disabled. You could copy the Trail Running activity and rename it Stroller Running if you want to differentiate from genuine trail running.

Performance condition is generated based on your pace (or power) vs heart rate. The nature of trail running (variable terrain - rocks, roots, mud, sand, gravel, twists and turns, lumps and bumps etc) makes it difficult and unfair to judge your performance (condition) based on your pace vs heart rate.

The option to calculate VO2max during trail runs was only recently added, but it is an option.

If you don't want handicaps such as strollers or heavy backpacks and gear to mess with your stats then trail running is the obvious choice.

I've kept trail running for... well trail running and copied it to create activities with different loads. But i've ended up using copies of the 'walking' activity cause I don't do walking and this way the different activities don't interfere with each other at all. I think you even get more granular analysis in the phone app (for walking obviously).

Agree with eezytiger and mcalista. Did some running with a stroller a few years ago (using Fenix 3) and used the trail running app. I also tested the standard running app and didn't notice any larger changes to VO2. For me running with a stroller was an exception, I would guess 1 out of 10. And as soon as it is slightly downhill the stroller will make you run much faster than normal :-)
