Problem with the Battery Widget or a pleasant surprise from Garmin!!

Still running 15.20 on my Tactix Delta Solar, but the Battery Widget was upgraded a few days ago.

Even though I’m pretty okay with the normal almost 2-3 weeks battery life (I don’t have many smart features turned on, nor PulseOx) I was pretty surprised to see that miraculously I’m going to get about 43 days battery life!

Will see how it looks in two weeks!! And I do use it almost daily to track runs or walks so the GPS gets used.

    If you receive plenty of daily Solar charging, your battery life will show an impressive number. Listening to music, using the PulseOX often, and overall GPS usage will drain your battery the quickest. Your watch will keep updating your approximate battery life to reflect your averages based on how you are using your watch. If you are getting a lot of daily solar charging one week, you will see high numbers for your battery average. If your daily battery usage behavior changes to a lot more battery usage another week, the high numbers can quickly change to lower numbers too.

    I think that's the most likely explanation since two days after the photo above, my remaining days now sits at around 30.5.

    Per day usage is still just under 3% per day, which is still pretty good, and I haven't had much sun on on the watch.
