Garmin Pay remove a card - Card not in app

I have a fenix 6 pro.  I added a card a while back and since have cancelled that card.  The card still shows up as an option on my watch, but not in the Garmin Connect app.  How do I remove the card from my watch?

  • That is strange. i just looked at mine. i had a card and removed it from the app but never thought to check the watch. it is telling me that the wallet is empty. I assume you have synced the watch.

  • Yep, watch has been synced.  The card has been on there for almost a year now.  I actually don't remember removing it in the first place.

  • I have the same problem, two cards removed from wallet, but still appear in the app. One fully appears, one says that I should removed it, but it removed itself since the bank switched it off and somehow Garmin Pay knows about it. 

    How to clear the cards from Fenix 5+ and resync it? 

    I tried multiple syncing, rebooting etc. nothing works. 

  • I had a similar problem.

    I had a F5+ on my Garmin account and had a credit card in my wallet. I then upgraded to an F6pro and removed the F5+ from my account. The credit card was then stuck in my wallet. In the end I re-added the same credit card and everything is now fine.

  • Same with Vivoactive 4.  Had to factory reset watch and spend the 3 hours reconfiguring the watch back to old settings.  All kinds of data not saved. Like Barcode data in barcode app.  Nothing synched back. Ugly solution

    My card is expiring in 1 year but I have cancelled it. Then removed from connect app and synchronised with watch (forerunner 945). Card started there and it was first one on the list what made it even more annoying (after watch start, unlock and payment with second card the last used one is default but after restart it was first again). No way to remove it as it was already removed from Garmin pay and connect.

    I tried adding it again (same number but I also entered dummy name, verification code and correct expiration date). It failed to be added. At first it was displayed in the "connect" app. Then I unlocked NFC payments on the watch while it was connected - it displayed an error.

    After a while it disappeared from connect app and also from the watch.
