Went to Save an Activity, and BLUE Triangle! What to do?

After I went for a run yesterday, I pressed stop and then selected Save. Then popped up a blue triangle. I thought that was odd, since I only ever see that when powering on/off (or something like that).

I pressed the bottom left button (to try to get out of the triangle screen) and the watch merely beeped. And then I pressed the top right button, and it went to it's normal Watch Face screen. Hrm. Weird.

Then I connected the watch to my phone, to upload the activity. My day's info uploaded... but no activity to be found. Then I searched the watch, and the activity doesn't exist. I searched here for info, and found "blue triangle of death". Oh no.

So... what do I do?

I've only had this watch for a couple of months. If it's going to willynilly lose my activities, there is no point in having this watch - activities are the PRIMARY reason I have this watch.

Please advise.

If you can connect your watch to a computer via USB lead, once computer can see the watch folder, navigate to activities, and you should see a .fit file with the date of your run. Cut and paste this to…

If you can connect your watch to a computer via USB lead, once computer can see the watch folder, navigate to activities, and you should see a .fit file with the date of your run. Cut and paste this to somewhere in your computer (main thing is to delete this last activity off the watch). This should get rid of the blue triangle of death on restarting watch (soft hold top left for 10-20 secs).

if activity file is still valid, start Garmin connect via web page, login and top right select Import Activity and drag and drop .fit file into here and import. I suspect it might be corrupted, but if successful it will let you know.

Do you have wifi sync enabled?

I have some problems with wifi (each time I try to sync through wifi the watch restart), this cause the restart at the end of an activity because of the wifi sync.

Hello, I have same problem, after activity, I pressed save activity, blue triangle is showed to cca 20 second (like soft reset) and after watch showed sometime watchface screen (it is mean activity is not saved correctly, help only load file by fitfiletools.com - repair section and import activity in garmin connect web page) and sometime stopped activity screen with save activity possibility (activity is saved, but training load is 0) I registered problem after run, indoor cycling and mtb cycling activity.

Any help?
