Different sleep times for different days of the week

I have a consistent, but weird sleep schedule during the week. Is there a way to program in a daily schedule instead of a general sleep schedule? Some mornings I get up very early and usually try to be in bed early. Other days (especially weekends) I'll stay up later but also sleep in later. I have my start time set for normally my earliest time going to bed and my wake time my latest. But this also means that on days where I'm up before 5:00am, I can't manually sync and then see my sleep time until after 10:00. I'm usually up before then, but pushed it to that time because of the inconsistencies on days I'm in bed later than the set time.

Although my sleep schedule is pretty broad, I'd have to think there are people who have one schedule on M-F and another on the weekends. When I used to work a graveyard shift, I had a different sleep schedule on my days off. I'd think it would be a desirable feature for others.

  • There is not a way to do that now. You might want to submit that as a feature request to Garmin since they are much more likely to look at that then at posts here.

There is a possible solution to one of your issues though. If you look at the sleep widget on the watch on a day you wake up early it may say "Sleeping" if it thinks you are still in a sleep period. If you open the widget it should give you the option to manually end sleep. Not exactly what you are looking for but maybe a workaround. You might also be ok with setting it to an earlier time and relying on auto detection. I tend to sleep later on the weekends and my watch usually picks that up just fine even though I sleep past my usual wake up time.

  • I would like to have different times for different days too.
