Running activity won't upload

One week ago I completed my first 100 km ultrarun. Unfortunately my Garmin Fenix 6 gave an error while uploading. Manually connecting the watch and uploading it did not work. I tried to upload the .fit file to Strava and this worked. Also Stryd found no problem accepting the file. Garmin Support suggested I try to repair the .fit file. Also this did not work. Maybe the file is to big (about 4 mb) or I had to many breaks in the run. (I paused the run every hour since it was a Backyard event) Hopefully is there anyone on this forum who had had the similar problem and knows the solution. To lose a training run is obviously not a problem, but to have a 100 km ultra not in the Garmin stats is not so nice. Thanks in advance!

Probably not much better than what you had. Ended up with 103 km with the correct activity and device type. Assuming it's a fenix 6. If not, let me know and that can be changed.

Have you tried exporting the GPX file from Strava and uploading that to Garmin Connect?

Thank you for this tip! I tried it and it works. Total distance and time is a bit off and missing some data. But this is a good solution! Thanks again!

If you can zip the problematic fit file, then attach it to a reply post, we might be able to repair it more completely.

3 ways to get the file to us:

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Zip the file, then drag and drop it onto a reply post.
Post a link to the file using a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.

It's the same distance as the .gpx upload (about 2.32 km more than I actually ran) But the pace is now more correct compared to the .gpx file upload. Also Garmin now gave me the 100 km Ultra badge which is nice. The watch is a Fenix 6 Sapphire, so that is correct.
