Anyone else seeing horrendous GPS performance lately?

I did....it was equally terrible. I think I will just stop looking at the trace after runs- makes me wonder how it can be this bad every time! I might try GPS only even though I have little hope in that helping make things look a little less embarassing. 

Jepp same experience. I feel that GPS has been bad since the trouble around new year.

I have'nt looked closely at my GPS lately - and now I wish I still hadn't!

This is from a run on 15th March - trace shows me way of the road. Seems better along the river.

I also ran that route with a Forerunner 245 on the other wrist so I'll compare traces later.

Hmmm... a bike ride I did yesterday is much better than that run above. Pretty much on the road all the time - even on the right side of the road, and crossing bridges over water I'm on the bridges, not water.

No. But then I’m not a super spy expecting pin point accuracy from a consumer device that’s an inch and a half across. Bear in mind that the maps the plot is against have their own tolerance on accuracy too, satellite especially.

My usual route for my dog walk this morning was tracked with the same accuracy as normal with GPS +GLONASS in the UK. There is the standard (small) offset to the left with the watch on the left wrist, but apart from that the tracks are smooth and as expected.

A bike ride is a totally different matter compared to running due to the much higher speed when riding a bike.

I don't think speed explains the difference between being on the road and off the road. If you look at my run and screenshot, you'll see I'm offset from the road - but I am running in the west to east direction on the road, speed would not explain the vertical offset putting me to the north of the road.

In addition in my run when you see the river section running east to west, this is a trail and about 1 mile per hour slower than the road section but the track is accurate there.

I haven't recorded many GPS activities since 15.20 came out, but here's a hike I did on 15.20 a couple weeks ago:

I know it's hard to tell since you can't really see the underlying trails, but the track is pretty accurate. That part where the lines are further apart, I was indeed on opposite sides of a road.
