Garmin activity notifications when paired to Aftershokz Aeroplex

I was wondering if someone has any way of resolving my issue.

I normally run listening to music on my IPhone (Apple Music Subscription.

I have just purchased the Aftershokz Aeroplex headphones as they offer multipoint Bluetooth, something my other headphones cannot do.

I have managed to set this up with my Iphone and my Taxtix Bravo watch.

The problem I have is that the activity notifications dont seem to get sent when my music is playing on my phone. If I stop the music then the notifications come through really clear. Both devices (Watch and Iphone) show that they are connected to my headphones.

Has anyone experienced this before and managed to figure out a workaround?

Don't know. It should work. My activity notifications come through my aftershokz.

It seems that if my phone is playing anything that emits sound to the headphones then the watches announcements don’t get through. As soon as I stop playing the music on my phone, the annoucements from the watch get through.

Oh- yeah. that's the way it works for me as well. If I'm listening to Music/podcasts from my watch, then watch announcements come through. If I'm listening to my iphone music/podcasts- then watch announcements don't come through. I had no idea that I could have both connected at once. really?
